Advisory

A note with CVSS 9.6 for component SV-SMG-DIA-WLY was released by SAP on 13.01.2026. The correction/advisory 3668679 was described with "[CVE-2026-0500] Remote code execution in SAP Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager (WorkStation)" and affects the system type SAP Solution Manager & SAP Focused Run .

A workaround exists, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as part of maintenance.

The vulnerability addressed is remote code execution vulnerability within SAP Solution Manager & SAP Focused Run .

Risk specification

SAP Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager allows an unauthenticated attacker to create a malicious JNLP (Java Network Launch Protocol) file that is accessible via a URL, which can result in command execution on the victim’s application when the victim clicks the link.

Solution

With this patch, SAP Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager now correctly validates all request parameters.  Although an alternative solution exists, it is advisable to apply the correction! This is the workaround, which was suggested by the SAP security experts: "Switch to the respective standalone workstation package from the Software Center instead of launching the application via the .jnlp file".
