Advisory
SAP takes the security of its vast product portfolio very seriously and thus releases security fixes for
vulnerabilities reported by external researchers and their customers every second Tuesday of the month.
SAP Note 3747367
was released on
14.07.2026 and deals with
"3747367 - [CVE-2026-44747] Memory Corruption vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP" within Kernel.
We advice you to follow the instructions, to resolve
memory corruption
with a
hot news potential for exploitation
in component BC-FES-ITS.
According to SAP Security Advisory team a workaround exists. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.
Risk specification
SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows an authenticated attacker to exploit a logical error in memory management, potentially causing memory corruption. This may result in unauthorized access to data, unauthorized data modification, or system unavailability.
Solution
Out-of-bounds stack writes are now prevented through proper validation of allocated memory boundaries. Alternativly, the consulting team has proposed the following: "Disabling all ICF nodes in transaction SICF where Service Data ‚Üí Interactive Options ‚Üí GUI Interface is set to Yes (e.g., /sap/bc/gui and subnodes) disables SAP GUI for HTML on the Application Server ABAP.". The suggestion may be considered, as a workaround or compensating mitigation. We recommend installing/applying the correction wherever possible and as soon as possible. Base your decision on whether or not to apply the patch on your companies and systems risk perspective and consider the provided CVSS 9.9 score.
