SAP takes the security of its vast product portfolio very seriously and thus releases security fixes for vulnerabilities reported by external researchers and their customers every second Tuesday of the month.

SAP Note 3735546 was released on 09.06.2026 and deals with "3735546 - [CVE-2026-44751] Missing Authorization check in Application Server ABAP of SAP NetWeaver and ABAP Platform" within ABAP. We advice you to follow the instructions, to resolve missing authorization check with a high potential for exploitation in component BC-DWB-DIC-AC.

According to SAP Security Advisory team a workaround does not exist. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

Missing authority checks are still the most common security defect related to authorizations in custom code. Since SAP uses an explicit authorization model, an authority checks must be coded in order to be executed. If an explicit check is not coded, all users have access. Application Server ABAP allows an authenticated attacker to execute a report generation command that overwrites data belonging to other users, resulting in unauthorized data modification and partial service disruption.
