Advisory

SAP takes the security of its vast product portfolio very seriously and thus releases security fixes for vulnerabilities reported by external researchers and their customers every second Tuesday of the month.

SAP Note 3733064 was released on 12.05.2026 and deals with "3733064 - [CVE-2026-34263] Missing authentication check in SAP Commerce Cloud configuration" within SAP Commerce Cloud. We advice you to follow the instructions, to resolve code injection with a hot news potential for exploitation in component CEC-SCC-CDM-BO-APP.

According to SAP Security Advisory team a workaround exists. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

Risk specification

SAP Commerce Cloud allows an unauthenticated attacker to upload malicious input through an inadequately secured endpoint, resulting in the execution of arbitrary server-side code. Successful exploitation may lead to a full system compromise, including unauthorized access to and modification of all data.

Solution

This vulnerability has been addressed by preventing unauthenticated access to the affected internal functionality.  Alternativly, the consulting team has proposed the following: "Restrict Backoffice access to trusted IP ranges to mitigate the network attack vector, or replace backoffice-spring-security.xml at build time via a custom extension and buildcallbacks.xml to require ROLE_BACKOFFICEADMINGROUP for all /zkau/** endpoints. Refer to SAP Note 3746113 for detailed instructions.". The suggestion may be considered, as a workaround or compensating mitigation. We recommend installing/applying the correction wherever possible and as soon as possible. Base your decision on whether or not to apply the patch on your companies and systems risk perspective and consider the provided CVSS 9.6 score.
