On 10.03.2026 a security relevant correction has been released by SAP SE. The manufacturer resolves an issue within Java.
SAP Note 3698553 addresses "3698553 - [CVE-2019-17571 ] Code Injection vulnerability in SAP Quotation Management Insurance application (FS-QUO)" to prevent code injection with a hot news risk for exploitation.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process, the team suggests.
Risk specification
SAP Quotation Management Insurance (FS-QUO) allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code on the server, potentially leading to full system compromise and unauthorized manipulation of application processes.
Solution
The FS-QUO component now uses a non-vulnerable Log4j version.
