On 09.06.2026 a security relevant correction has been released by SAP SE. The manufacturer resolves an issue within ABAP.
SAP Note 3751691 addresses "3751691 - [CVE-2026-44744] SQL Injection vulnerability in SAP S/4HANA" to prevent sql injection (read) with a medium risk for exploitation.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process, the team suggests.

SAP S/4HANA (on-premise) allows an authenticated attacker to exploit a SQL injection vulnerability in a remote-enabled function module, resulting in unauthorized access to sensitive data.
Solution
The vulnerable deprecated code has been removed from the affected remote-enabled function module.
