On 10.06.2025 a security relevant correction has been released by SAP SE. The manufacturer resolves an issue within ABAP.
SAP Note 3609271 addresses "[CVE-2025-42982] Information Disclosure in SAP GRC (AC Plugin)" to prevent information disclosure with a high risk for exploitation.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process, the team suggests.

The Access Control (AC) Plugin in SAP GRC allows an authenticated attacker with non-administrative privileges to access and initiate transactions, potentially enabling the modification or manipulation of transmitted system credentials.Solution
The issue has been resolved by restricting the execution of the affected report, thereby preventing unauthorized access to system credentials.
