Advisory

A note with CVSS 6.3 for component BC-SRV-FP was released by SAP on 11.08.2026. The correction/advisory 3758318 was described with "3758318 - [CVE-2026-58235] Use of Vulnerable Third-Party Component in SAP NetWeaver AS Java (Adobe Document Services)" and affects the system type Java.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as part of maintenance.

The vulnerability addressed is weak security function / cryptographic algorithm within Java.

Risk specification

SAP NetWeaver AS Java (Adobe Document Services) allows an authenticated attacker to exploit known weaknesses in outdated OpenSSL and libcurl libraries, resulting in unauthorized access to data.

Solution

Adobe Document Services has been updated to OpenSSL version 3.0.20 and libcurl version 8.19.0.
