Advisory
A note with CVSS 9.9 for component SV-SMG-SVD-SWB was released by SAP on 09.12.2025. The correction/advisory 3685270 was described with "[CVE-2025-42880] Code Injection vulnerability in SAP Solution Manager" and affects the system type ABAP.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.
The vulnerability addressed is code injection within ABAP.

The issue was resolved by sanitizing input parameters to reject non-alphanumeric characters.
