SAP takes the security of its vast product portfolio very seriously and thus releases security fixes for vulnerabilities reported by external researchers and their customers every second Tuesday of the month.

SAP Note 3679346 was released on 10.02.2026 and deals with "[CVE-2026-24319] Information Disclosure Vulnerability in SAP Business One (B1 Client Memory Dump Files)" within SAP Business One. We advice you to follow the instructions, to resolve information disclosure with a medium potential for exploitation in component SBO-CRO-SEC.

According to SAP Security Advisory team a workaround does not exist. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

Information disclosure is when an application fails to properly protect sensitive and confidential information from parties that are not supposed to have access to the subject matter in normal circumstances.

Risk specification

SAP Business One allows an authenticated attacker to retrieve sensitive information from memory dump files, potentially resulting in unauthorized operations within the system, including the modification of company data.

Solution

SAP Business One now removes user credentials from client memory to prevent sensitive information from being written to memory dump files, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access. Additional safeguards have been implemented to further minimize the potential for credential exposure during dump creation or sharing.
