Advisory
A note with CVSS 4.3 for component FI-FIO-AR-PAY was released by SAP on 19.11.2025. The correction/advisory 3669608 was described with "3669608 - [CVE-2026-66764] Missing Authorization check in SAP S/4 HANA (Reprocess Bank Statement Items)" and affects the system type ABAP.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.
The vulnerability addressed is missing authorization check within ABAP.

Reprocess Bank Statement Items in SAP S/4HANA allows an authenticated attacker to use processing rules that have not been shared with them, resulting in unauthorized access to restricted data and privilege escalation.
Solution
Missing authorization checks have been added when accessing processing rules.
